Cleangredients.Org (CleanGredients®) is a Green

Organization project of GreenBlue® and is being developed through a multi-stakeholder coalition of participants from government entities, environmental organizations, industry associations, cleaning product formulators and distributors, and chemical manufacturers and suppliers.

They are working to shift the direction of industrial and institutional (I&I) cleaning product development toward products that are benign with respect to human and ecological health and safety.

The Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) is a professional association of key individuals and groups from government, industry and academia. These Green Organizations promote the use, and recycling of EPA, in the Safer Detergent Stewardship Initiative.

EPA Design For the Environment Label (DfE). This EPA program has reached more than 200,000 business facilities and approximately 2 million workers. In 2008, DfE reduced the use of chemicals of concern by approximately 330 million pounds.
